We Help with Permits
If your town requires a permit (Lakewood requires a zoning permit for any shed), we'll guide you through the process. We know the local requirements and can help you fill out what's needed.
Lakewood permit basics: Zoning permit required for any shed. Max 200 sq ft, max 12 ft height, 5 ft setback from property lines. Apply at the Dept. of Code Enforcement, 212 Fourth Street, Lakewood NJ.
Delivery & Installation
We deliver prefab structures or build custom on-site — whatever works best for your property. For standard orders, your shed or playset arrives on a special trailer ready to place. For custom sizes or tight-access yards, we build right on your property. Either way, our team handles leveling, anchoring, and final adjustments. Most installations are completed in a single day.
For Sheds
We recommend having a level gravel pad or concrete blocks ready. We'll advise on the best foundation for your specific shed and yard.
For Playsets
Clear, level ground is needed. We recommend adding wood chips or rubber mulch under and around the playset for safety.

Peak Season Notice
Spring and summer (March-August) are our busiest months. During peak season, build times can extend to 8-12 weeks. Order early to get your shed or playset installed before the season starts.
Site Preparation Tips
A little prep goes a long way. Here's what to have ready before delivery day.
For Sheds
- Clear the area of any debris, plants, or obstacles
- Level gravel pad recommended (4-6 inches deep)
- Ensure 5+ ft clearance from property lines
- Gate or access point wide enough for delivery truck
- No overhead wires or low branches in the path
For Playsets
- Level ground in the installation area
- 6 feet of clearance on all sides (safety zone)
- Away from fences, trees, and structures
- Plan for rubber mulch or wood chips (6-12" deep)
- Visible from the house for supervision
